National Center for Electron Beam Research
Description
The National Center for Electron Beam Research serves as an unbiased venue for academic, government, and industry scientists to carry out strategic electronic pasteurization and sterilization research using electron beam (E-beam) and X-rays. The E-Beam and X-ray equipment and the E-Beam facility at Texas A&M University is one-of-a- kind in the world because of its capacity, capability, and expertise. The facility will serve as a "core-facility" to host investigators to conduct research projects at the facility. The main missions of NCEBR include, Research, Commercial Services, and Technology Transfer.
