Center for Atmospheric Chemistry and the Environment (CACE)
Description
The Center for Atmospheric Chemistry and the Environment (CACE) is an interdisciplinary hub that supports collaborative research on atmospheric chemistry, climate change impacts, air quality, and human health. In addition to fostering campus-wide laboratory and field studies, CACE provides access to advanced tools such as a state-of-the-art micro-pulse LIDAR system, which uses laser-based measurements to generate vertical profiles of aerosols and clouds for both on- and off-campus environmental monitoring.
